Readybrief

About

Built for the people who actually run venues

Most venues that Martyn’s Law applies to aren’t run by security teams. They’re run by churchwardens, hall committees, pub tenants and school business managers, often volunteers. Readybrief exists to make getting ready a calm hour’s work, not a worry.

Who’s behind it

Readybrief is built and run by Chris Rough, based in Dorset. Chris has spent more than 20 years delivering technology for regulated financial services, where the job is getting the detail right and being able to show a regulator exactly why. Readybrief brings that same discipline to community venues: plain English, every point linked to its official source, nothing claimed that can’t be backed up, and you always in charge of what’s signed off.

How we work

  • You stay in charge. AI drafts; a person at your venue checks and signs off every line.
  • Sources, not scare stories. We link to the Act and official guidance and check them daily.
  • No compliance claims. No product can promise that. We help you prepare and keep a record.
  • Your plans stay private. Encrypted, stored in the UK/EU, never used to train AI.
  • Honest pricing. Prices on the page, no sales calls, and notifying the SIA is always free.

Independent

Readybrief is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Security Industry Authority, the Home Office, ProtectUK or the Martyn’s Law Campaign, and it is not legal advice.
